The 21st Annual BBC Fine Arts & Fine Crafts Fair: Saturday, May 17th, 2014

The BBC Fine Art and Craft Show in now in its 21st year.  We are a one day out door show with over 100 artists.  We are rain or shine.  It’s a celebration for the beautification of the historic Bedford, Barrow and Commerce st. historical section of the West Village in Manhattan NYC.  All money’s raised goes to caring for the glorious old trees and plants in the neighborhood.  We are proud of our show and have great support from the whole downtown community.  Downtown and Manhattan has some of the worlds  wealthiest people living, working and most importantly shopping here. Not only do we have our own wealthy people, the West Village is  one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.  Tourists come from all over looking for the perfect unique American made art works and fine crafts to take home with them.  We get easily over 10,000 people coming to the show. Many of our artists are from the tri-state area and have participated in the show for many years.  We are growing and looking for new artists to spice up the show.  We are proud to have a good blend of fine arts and fine crafts in all categories.  This year we are adding to our website a list of participating artists, if you want to be on the list we will include your website and email address.

The application process is the same as last year, which can be accessed by clicking this link, 2014 Artist & Craftspeople Application. You can wait to apply or start now.  This year we have a rolling acceptance, and we will accept artists until their category is filled.  Everyone needs a NYS sales tax id  certificate  of authority, , 518-485-2889.  Additionally, only fine crafters need a temporary  street vendor permit, one month is $10.00. The permit is obtained through the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs,

In addition to the juried crafts, we have a food court, extensive outdoor café seating, live entertainment and strong walking traffic. We would like to expand our selection of food choices with food trucks, no longer than 20 feet. We are looking for 2 trucks for premium corner spaces at Hudson Street and Barrow Street, and 3 food trucks on Commerce Street. Tables and chairs will also be provided for the Commerce Street location. There are two applications, one for food trucks and one for standard food vendors.  Click on the appropriate link below to pull up the application, which can then be printed out.
